[unpaid/affiliate/ad] It’s a long time since I’ve bought a ‘serious’ handbag – I think I had a bit of a bag frenzy when I was working up in London more and it would be very safe to say I have a life-time’s worth of bags as it is. So, when I do buy a new bag, it’s much more likely to be something fun and fabulous from Accessorise than it is to be a sensible, big outlay bag. However, I have had my head very much turned by the Michael Kors Colby bags which have a Jackie O vibe with some modern updates.

Colby Silver

First up, the Colby silver – this is the one that caught my eye first and while I’m easily swayed by something shiny, it would go with literally everything from jeans and jacket to a fancy black dress. It’s a good size (10.5”W X 6.75”H X 2.75”D) in that it’s capacious enough to carry your essentials without looking overstuffed or bulky, but it’s small enough to be a day or evening bag.

Colby Zebra

Bearing in mind my default outfit is blue jeans, white linen shirt and a black jacket, this could be the perfect Colby for me. But that said, any of the options would look perfect with that combination of colours.

Colby Pink

I passed this one by initially but spring does strange things doesn’t it? I could suddenly see myself casually strolling down Bond Street (honestly, not something I do very often!) with this on my shoulder feeling very pleased with myself. If I had a wedding to go to, I’d be working around this bag with the rest of my outfit. The only problem with the Colby bags is that it comes in quite a number of colours – at £345, more than one isn’t an option – choosing is an issue. Anyway, if the Colby is solving any bag dilemmas for you, you can find it HERE and please let me know which colour you go for!
