Portland Pickles opens sports bar on Mississippi Avenue

The Portland Pickles Pub features a three-story game screen, beers, stadium dogs and team merchandise.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland's favorite summer collegiate baseball team opened a massive new sports bar on Mississippi Avenue in North Portland on March 21.

The approximately 3,000-square-foot, Portland Pickles Pub features dozens of games, a three-story game screen, and 10 plus TV screens. It will also offer local craft beers, specialty cocktails and a curated selection of the best stadium hot dogs from "Dodger Dogs to Fenway Franks," the team said.

It's located at 3932 North Mississippi Avenue, across the street from Mississippi Studios and next door to Miss Delta Restaurant and Bar.

"We are incredibly excited to unveil our new sports bar to the Portland community," said Alan Miller, owner of the Portland Pickles, before the grand opening. "This venue will be more than just a place to watch games; it will be a vibrant space where fans can come together to celebrate their love for sports, regardless of where their allegiances lie, except for Yankees fans.”

Fans and customers can also get their hands on Portland Pickles merchandise at a dedicated retail hub for the team inside the pub.

"We wanted to create a space that caters to the diverse interests of sports fans in Portland," added Miller. "Sometimes you just need a place that shows Australian Rules Football, European Rugby and minor league baseball."

The Pickles kick off their ninth season in May at Walker Stadium.
