That globetrotting grandson of mine just returned from another trip to the Philippines. Will spent the holidays with family there and snuck in a few touristy days in Japan, Taiwan and Hawaii! He had a great time and returned home just in time to attend his own 5th birthday party at Auntie's house. He loved his lego themed party! He just loves legos......and mushrooms.....which leads me to this card.
While Will was gone we decided to totally redo his father's old bedroom at camp with a mushroom theme. It's been a project and we are not quite done but the room is painted and the floor has finally been installed. We are waiting for some furniture and then we will be good to go. I made this card for Will so that all the people who worked on this project can sign it. Hopefully we can put the finishing touches on in a couple of weeks and have a grand unveiling party!

What a great story, great sketch and great card! I find it hilarious that Will likes mushrooms....you should bring him for a visit, as I live near Kennett Square, the mushroom capital of the world! On New Year's Eve, they drop a mushroom instead of a ball!! Anyway, your little mushrooms are adorable, I love the way you colored them, just perfect for your little fungi!

I can't tell you how many times I've attended mushroom-themed room reveals without the right card to go with it. This one is adorable - I love those little mushrooms. Definitely something worth celebrating!
This is such a great card Linda! I love those mushrooms so much!! I was actually just looking at that stamp set the other day!! I love that Will loves mushrooms! I do too! My new planner has mushrooms on it! I also can't believe Will went to more countries in one trip before he was 5 than I've been to in my entire life!!!! I need to get out more!
