2023-12-15 11:00 UTC by Leticia

The links in this Best Gifts for Dog Lovers post are affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on a link. Some items below were provided for review purposes.

What do you get the person who seems to have everything? Something for their dog, of course! Fur babies are family and if you’re a dog lover like I am, any of these gifts would be welcome additions to parents who consider their four-legged canine part of the family. These favorite products are tried and tested by us, Goldie (4 year old Yellow Lab/Golden Retriever mix), Murphy (21 month old Chocolate Lab pup), and some were favorites of  our dearly departed Yellow Labrador, Oliver. You’ll also be glad to know that almost all of these products are available from Amazon so they’ll get there in time for the holidays. Thank you Amazon Prime

Best Gifts for Dog Lovers

Noxgear Lighthound LED Harness ($49.99)

For years I’ve put light up collars on our dogs to increase their visibility during nighttime walks and they’ve all just been ok until I found Lighthound. Lighthound isn’t just a collar- it’s a rechargeable LED harness that features 360 degree illumination. The 2 lit straps that go all the way around our dogs’ bodies so they can be seen from all angles. The maximum visibility Lighthound harness has 6 multi-color flashing modes, 8 solid color modes, and is always bright. The rugged Cordura Fabric is strong, comfortable, adjustable, and fully washable. This is by far the best thing I’ve bought this year to keep our dogs safe.

Dog Hug from Puffer Hug ($17.99)

Our dogs give us love so why not give them a hug back in the form of a Dog Hug from Puffer Hug. This puffer scarf designed just for dogs will keep your pup warm and cozy with a touch of style. Available in red in both small and large sizes and has decorative pockets.

Tree Lick Mat ($15.99) and Gourmet Peanut Butter ($13.99) from SodaPup

A lick mat and gourmet peanut butter from SodaPup.com brings joy and a sense of calm to dogs at the holiday when college students coming home for the holidays, visiting relatives from out of town, more delivery people coming to the door, travel, and a myriad of other changes to their routine can make them more anxious. Spread Gourmet Peanut Butter to a Tree Design Peace Lick Enrichment Mat to soothe and treat your pup this season. Lick mats are known to soothe and calm dogs through licking and promote fresh breath, healthy teeth, and gums. SodaPup also makes fun festive shapes of durable chew toys and treat dispensers, slow feeder bowls, tug toys, frisbees, and more! The Corn on the Cob Rubber Treat Dispenser is a longtime favorite of our dogs!

Dog Bowl Bottle ($34.99) from Asobu

Sharing is caring and Asobu’s innovative White Dog Bowl Bottle makes it easier than ever to share your water with your pup without cross contamination. This vacuum insulated stainless steel bottle keeps your water perfectly chilled for hours and the detachable insulated dog bowl makes it a breeze to share with your best friend. Wrapped in Winter Treat Collection ($10.99/box) from NaturesAnimals.com

Everyone deserves something to unwrap this holiday season and your dog will love any one of the 3 Wrapped in Winter Treat Collections. Choose from the three different gift boxes full of their all-natural, freshly baked handmade biscuits for dogs in festive shapes like snowflakes, gingerbread and trees! Your pup will love these crunchy treats made with the finest human-grade, organic ingredients, sourced right here in the heart of the USA.

Yummy Combs Dental Treats ($22.99/bag)

Keep your dog’s teeth cleaner year-round with their honeycomb shaped deep pockets from PetsBestLife.com. These treats come in 5 sizes, ranging from extra small to extra large and are determined by your dog’s weight.

HandsOn Animal Gloves ($24.99)

HandsOn Animal Gloves brings TLC to your pets daily with a good massage at home whether used wet, dry, for bathing, or for grooming. These are far better than traditional curry combs, mitts, and shedders available because they won’t slip or fall off while providing your dog with a more thorough and enjoyable bath or grooming session. They also come in red or green as a nice stocking stuffer!

Juniper Pet Club (free or $49/year)

Sometimes dog parents just want to find other dog parents and that’s where Juniper comes in. This free online community is for dog parents, by dog parents. It features free guides, enrichment and training tips, recommendations for best products, and practical knowledge you’ve been looking for, and a community designed to allow gen-z and millennial dog owners to connect. The free email list features lots of amazing content but if you want more, Juniper Pet Club is $49/year. Membership perks include exclusive deals from some of my dogs’ favorite brands (like SodaPup!), quarterly canine guides to help you learn more about your dog, support from other dog parents, members-only articles an posts, and a weekly newsletter to help you be a better dog parent in just 10 minutes a week.

Thoughts of Dog Day to Day Calendar ($17.99 from Amazon)

I happen to love @dog_feelings on Twitter and am excited to start the new year with a daily Thoughts of Dog calendar that is sweet, pure, and well…channels your dog’s innermost thoughts. Featuring a new thought every day on a tear off page, this calendar is worth waking up for each and every morning!

Furbo Dog Camera ($196)

As a dog mom who now works part time outside the home, I love being able to keep an eye on our new pup, Goldie, when I’m not with her. Furbo features a 1080p full HD camera with night vision that provides a 160-degree view of our home at any time of the day. I can pull up the Furbo feed via the app on my phone to see what Goldie is doing, get push alerts when Furbo detects that she’s barking and talk to her through the app, and also dispense treats with the push of a button. Furbo is incredibly easy to set up in 3 steps (simply plug it in, download the Furbo app, and connect it to your wifi) and provides peace of mind whether you’re leaving your pet for a grocery store run or for a day of work.

Snuffle Mat ($17.99)

Decrease dog boredom with this interactive snuffle mat that allows them to use their natural foraging skills to search for kibble and treats by scent. Our 8 year old pup, Goldie, loves this mat that can be cinched to tuck into her food dish or laid flat on the floor. We dump some kibble in it, shake it around, and turn her loose to find it. She buries her nose in it and pushes the green pieces around until she finds every last bit of food. The felt cloth pad features grippy dots on the bottom, is washing machine friendly, and highly portable.

Bob-A-Lot Interactive Dog Toy by StarMark ($16.77)

Introduced to this toy by her best friend, Goldie adores this toy! Like the Snuffle Mat, the Bob-A-Lot Interactive Dog Toy engages active pups by wobbling along and dispensing treats as it goes. Goldie loves to push it around the house, trying to make it spill treats out of the bottom. The adjustable openings at the top and bottom accommodate dog food and allow you to regulate difficulty level. We have the large Bob-A-Lot that holds up to 3 cups of food but we only put a cup in at a time and turn Goldie loose with it. FYI the toy does make a lot of noise as your dog pushes it around (especially if they use it on hardwood floors in a room above your home office!) but it’s a great toy to leave out for your dog when you leave home!

Watercolor Pet Portrait ($84 and up)

Yes, really. I was given a watercolor pet portrait of Oliver years ago and it’s something that I treasure, especially now that he’s no longer with us. * sniff * Even though Christmas delivery isn’t available due to high volume, trust me when I saw this portrait will be worth the wait!

Custom Return Address Pet Stamp from 904 Custom ($24.95)

Nothing says you love your dog than with a custom pet stamp featuring your address with your breed of dog! I love these designs from 904 Custom that feature either your address on a silhouette or circling an outline of their sweet face.
