Spain: Greek F-16 jet crashes at base, killing 10

Madrid — Spain’s Defense Ministry says a Greek F-16 fighter jet has crashed into other planes on the ground during NATO maneuvers in southeastern Spain, killing at least 10 people.

A Defense Ministry official said Tuesday that most of the victims were believed to be foreigners. He spoke on condition of anonymity because of ministry rules preventing him from being named.
