Detroit — Roosevelt Park in front of the iconic Michigan Central Station filled with the spirit of giving during the pop-up "Love in Rally" Saturday afternoon.

The rally was a collaboration of The Ark Foundation and Ordinary People Production. More than 75 volunteers served food, handed out clothes and personal items to more than 100 homeless people and others in need. The Ark started the program, "Takin' It to The Streets," in December 2001, by helping people in need.

People line up for food and clothes, including, Vietnam veteran Kevin Allen, left, 60, of Detroit.
