Lionel Messi’s fire start at Inter Miami isn't showing signs of being extinguished any time soon.

Messi has scored eight goals in five Inter Miami games that all resulted in wins, including an equalizer from a free kick in the 85th minute against FC Dallas. Inter Miami went on to win in a penalty shootout.

"You have this sensation that, he’s going to score," said Tata Martino, Messi’s coach with FC Barcelona, Argentina and now Inter Miami.

Messi Mania has officially taken over the MLS. Miami's matchup against FC Dallas sold out in minutes. Tickets to Miami’s road match against FC Cincinnati were listed for as much as $3,000 on the resale market. There’s still other opportunities to catch tickets if Messi comes to town, though.

Inter Miami will next face the Philadelphia Union at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday, Aug. 15. The Leagues Cup semifinal will be held at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.
