Mission/purpose:
The Script Executive will aid the existing script writers become as talented as possible. You will guide and train them and take care of the quality control. In addition, you look at the competition, evaluate what they do well and implement into our scripts. You will also do any re-edits and re-writes of the scripts.
Helping with onboarding of new writers
Teaching story-telling techniques for YouTube
Reviews and re-edits of some scripts
Remind everyone the guidelines and refer constantly to them

As Script Executive for a new channel, it's extremely important that you are passionate about the topics we are doing.
The reason why this is important is because you need to have context about everything happening about certain subjects, and be able to think as the viewer, almost like you are a part of the community watching and understanding what they want to see.
BREAKDOWNS: This is yet another important process which you must be able to do well if a channel is going to work out.
With breakdowns, we mean the ability to notice EVERY detail in competition works that makes them good, and then being able to implement these details ourselves in the scripts.
Besides noticing these small details, you should also be able to see what makes the overall storytelling of the script great.
You must also be aware of YouTube community guidelines.
Outcomes/responsibilities for 1st Month:
Report and evaluation of new on boarded writers the first 2 weeks, will they work or not?
Report breakdown of writing styles from other channels and how it can be implemented on our own channels
Highlight certain employees doing great work, and who can work on improving.
