The name may have changed, but the focus is the same: Enjoying the blues.

Thousands turned out Friday and Saturday for the Michigan BluesFest in Lansing's Old Town, formerly known as the Old Town Blues Fest.

The free festival asks each artist to play an original composition, that hasn't been played at any other festival.

Saturday's main stage schedule included Junior Valentine, Forg & the Beeftones, Root Doctor featuring Freddie Cunningham, Bull Halsey, Sharrie Williams and Those Delta Rhythm Kings.
