Honoring Clay Aiken

On Monday, September 15th, there was a reception honoring Clay Aiken. It was held in Washington DC at the home of  Mark Spengler.  The other hosts included Tom Daley, Michael Marriott, John Blandford, Renee Rosenfeld, Michael McGreevy, and Scott Fay.

Those in attendance reported that the event was well-attended and everyone seemed thoroughly engaged and interested in Clay and his platform.  There were many messages on Facebook and twitter from those in attendance with lots of pictures.  Here are a few of them:

Attended a fundraiser this evening. Personal invite from a fellow REALTOR leader. Recognize this guy? Singer? American Idol? Yes, it’s Clay Aiken. He’s using his voice for a greater cause to speak out on issues that matter-veterans’ homelessness, elevating quality of education in rural America and stimulating job creation to name a few. Clay is running to be the voice for the people of North Carolina in the Second District in Congress. Clay Aiken for North Carolina, www.clayaiken.com

It is always fun to see the comments and pictures from a successful fundraising event!
