Legacy of Liberty Air Show returns in one year for more music, food and air displays

Holloman Air Force Base presents the 2024 Legacy of Liberty Air Show

Holloman Air Force Base announced it would host the Legacy of Liberty Air Show Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Holloman last hosted the Legacy of Liberty Air Show in 2022.

The one-day event is free to the public and will have food, music and activities for visitors to Holloman Air Force Base to enjoy.

The list of performers or vendors for the 2024 event is not yet finalized, officials said. Those interested in updates may visit the 49th Wing – Holloman AFB website or the Facebook page as the air show approaches.

At the 2022 air show, U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron “The Thunderbirds” executed aerial performances. The Black Daggers, a parachute team made up of U.S. Army volunteers were also present at the 2022 air show. 

The U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, performs precision aerial maneuvers demonstrating the capabilities of Air Force high performance aircraft to people throughout the world. The squadron exhibits the professional qualities the Air Force develops in the people who fly, maintain and support these aircraft.
