Reach for the Stars - FMS589

This is one of those cards that took a left hand turn somewhere and ended up in outer space!  It was just going to be a regular graduation card with a diploma and scattered caps but after I stamped the images and found that sentiment in my stash I took a left at the Milky Way!

I think I was just having a hard time getting back to earth after two fun days at Legoland with the troops......so much fun and so many laughs.....and soooooo many Legos!

It is my turn to host this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  I hope you join us - would love to see where my sketch takes you!

Stamps: Graduation (Impression Obsession), Sentiment Strip (Taylored Expressions)
Paper: Basic White, Stargazing DSP
Ink: Memento Black, Concord and 9th - Harbor, Grapefruit, Oceanside

I just couldn't wait to see the story on this one. LOL. Love your stories. So, I made a card, I think I attempted one a couple months ago, but the stress level was too high.
I decided your challenge needed to be my first one in a long while. Loved yours.

I love this Linda - such a clever design and great use of your intriguing sketch this week! Yay for Lego - this avid builder loves those coloured bricks too!

Your starry-themed graduation card is fabulous and I love, love, love the colours you've used. (Note to self: I do not need the C9 inks). Thanks for a great sketch.

This is so fun and so great that it isn't the same old graduation card (that I seem to make). Such a fun sketch you gave us! Glad you had such a good time at Legoland. I thought the one we went to was just spectacular.
