Bicyclist dies after weekend crash. Here's what we know

LAS CRUCES ― A bicyclist has died after being hit by a car over the weekend.

The crash occurred on June 3 around 10:45 a.m. near the Idaho Avenue and Alamo Street intersection. A spokesperson from the City of Las Cruces confirmed the bicyclist had died after they were flown to an El Paso hospital.

The spokesperson described the vehicle as an Infiniti SUV and said the driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation, the spokesperson confirmed.
