CME milk futures, cash dairy mostly up Thursday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were higher except for dry whey Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June Class III milk was up $0.22 at $15.63.  July was up $0.41 at $16.56.  August was up $0.37 at $17.37.  September was up $0.17 at $18.12.  October through April contracts ranged from unchanged from October through February to three cents lower in March.

Dry whey was down $0.0125 at $0.2575.  Nine sales were recorded from $0.2575 to $0.2625.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0825 at $1.5025.  Two sales were recorded at $1.5025 and $1.5050.

Cheese barrels were up $0.0125 at $1.51.  Seven sales were recorded from $1.4975 to $1.451.

Butter was up $0.01 at $2.4650.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0150 at $1.17.  Three sales were recorded from $1.1575 to $1.1675.
