Woman, 22, shot early Monday in Lansing

LANSING — Lansing police said a woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries when she was shot early Monday morning.

Officers responded to the 5300 block of Starr Avenue in South Lansing about 2:57 a.m. They found the woman, 22, with a gunshot wound to her back, Public Information Director Jordan Gulkis said in an email.

Ingham County Jail inmate died from natural causes, investigators determine

The woman was transported to a local hospital.

No other information was released, and no arrests have been made.
