Jelly Roll stole the show, and Kane Brown won big – but what else went down at the CMT Music Awards?
This year, the annual fan-voted ceremony migrated from Music City to another music city: Austin, Texas. Inside the city’s newly-opened Moody Center, co-host Brown won Video of the Year for “Thank God,” a duet with his wife Katelyn Brown and Jelly Roll – a Nashville native and fast-rising people’s champ in country music – swept three categories, including Male Video of the Year.
