CHARLOTTE − A crash involving two semi trucks caused police to shut down northbound Interstate 69 in Eaton County for several hours on Thursday morning but caused no serious injuries.

Both drivers were out of their cabs and walking around following the crash, which happened around 6 a.m. near Otto Road, between Charlotte and Potterville, the Eaton County Sheriff's office said.

At least one of the trailers overturned, and cargo spilled down an embankment.

The northbound lanes were closed for about three hours while crews cleaned up the scene, officials said.

It was unclear what caused the crash.
