Police found a truck partially hanging off the side of a bridge early this morning in East Manchester Township.

Officers were dispatched around 4:48 a.m. to the 500 block of Wago Road for a report that a vehicle had crashed into a bridge, York County Regional Police said.

When officers arrived, they found the red truck partially hanging off the side of the bridge above a creek. The driver left the scene before police arrived, a news release states.

The bridge suffered damage, and the road will be closed between Board and Gravel Hill roads for an indefinite period of time.

Drivers will need to find an alternate route.
