Nebraska State Senator Megan Hunt did not mince words during a vote over a piece of anti-trans bill on the House floor.

The legislation — LB 547, which is named the "Let Them Grow Act," according to Omaha's WOWT 6 News, would ultimately prohibit gender-affirming care for trans kids.

The Recount shared a clip of Hunt's speech via Twitter, writing, "State Sen. Megan Hunt (D), speaking directly to Republicans, reaffirms vow to filibuster all legislation if #NEleg anti-trans bill passes: 'No one in the world holds a grudge like me. And no one in the world cares less about being petty than me. I don't care. I don't like you.'"

She mentioned the last 49 days of the lawmakers' legislative session has mostly revolved around this single piece of legislation.

Hunt's Democratic colleague, Sen. Machaela Cavanaugh, recently told Rolling Stone, "It's really hard" watching"these families talking to legislators who won’t listen to them, who won't trust them as parents."

Cavanaugh has filibustered the anti-trans legislation for weeks and does not plan to stop any time soon.

In the video, Hunt said to her fellow lawmakers pushing for the bill to be passed, "You guys really don't get it. You've crossed a line and you've gone too far. This bill harms me in an unforgivable way, and this is a line you don't cross with me. If you cross it today, you're staying on the other side of it. Because you have done irreparable harm, and you're doing harm to the body and to Nebraska as well.

She continued, "Don't say hi to me in the hall. Don't ask me how my weekend was. Don't walk by my desk and ask me anything. Don't send me Christmas card — take me off the list. You don't know me. We have no relationship."

"You aren't welcome in my space," Hunt concluded. "You aren't safe for my child to be around — or any child frankly."
