Good infrastructure is a must-have for farmers

Farmer Shane Goplin tells Brownfield the top issues affecting Wisconsin farmers are trade and infrastructure.

“We need to be sustainable not only in producing our products, but getting it to the customer,” he says. “Having good infrastructure up keep with the locks and dams is so critical and Wisconsin is the last state on the Mississippi River to have a nationally recognized port.”
