MSNBC's Joe Scarborough did not hold back when he offered his take on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' (R) underwhelming on-air baseball pitch.

On Tuesday, March 14, Scarborough shared his assessment during "Morning Joe."

The morning news host aired a replay of DeSantis' interview with Fox News' Brian Kilmeade where the pitch took place. Since DeSantis played college baseball at Yale University and received a number of accolades for his time on the field, the MSNBC host appeared to expect far more from the Republican governor.

With the comical dramatization, Scarborough sarcastically asked, "‘What is THAT?!’"

Speaking with Jonathan Lemire, Scarborough discussed the "fundamentals of baseball" as they pointed out where the Florida governor fell short.

Per Mediaite: "Scarborough took issue with DeSantis’ throwing motion in a bit that was ostensibly designed to give baseball tips to Lemire’s sons, who play little league but was really about mocking the Florida Governor."

At one point during Scarborough's assessment, Lemire chimed in saying, "So baseball is a big part of the DeSantis, story, right? He played in the Little League World Series. He played college baseball at Yale."

He added, "And the form here is just shaky. I mean, yeah, first of all, take the jacket off. Also you got to go all the way back. The T, you form the T. You learn that little League early on and then you come over like over the shoulder and he's like short arming it there. Also maybe use two hands in a catch."
