House approves ban of TikTok on government devices
The United States House of Representatives on Tuesday afternoon approved a measure banning TikTok from government devices, citing concerns about the security of user data.
"House staffers are now barred from downloading TikTok onto House devices and must remove the app from any mobile devices onto which it is currently downloaded, according to a memo from House Chief Administrative Officer Catherine Szpindor," CBS News explained.
A similar measure was passed by the Senate earlier this month as other federal agencies began implementing their own restrictions against the wildly popular app, which is owned by China-based ByteDance.

On your job-hunting TikTok account, you need to have a professional profile photo and video to demonstrate to hiring managers you’re serious about the employment opportunities that you have.”
TikTok, the website added, is "Gen Z's LinkedIn."
