Eric Trump, the second-eldest son of twice-impeached ex-President Donald Trump, revealed to ReAwaken America tour founder Clay Clark and pseudo-prophet Julie Green that he subjects his pre-school-aged children to rigorous daily routines that include forced recitations of the Pledge of Allegiance of the United States and mandatory prayer.

“I wake up at 4:30 in the morning every single morning. I say the Pledge of Allegiance to my five-year-old and my three-year-old. In fact, they say them now, um, and they do so beautifully. Then I say the Lord’s Prayer and I say two other family prayers that we have, and then I make them say something that's meaningful to them," Trump said.

"I do this every single night at 7:45 and no matter where I am in the world, if I can't be there, I'm doing it on FaceTime with my wife and kids. I see my – and, and, and, honestly, guys – that’s how I live a clean, positive life," added Trump, who in 2017 was busted siphoning off charitable donations into his family's businesses' coffers that were supposed to go toward terminally-ill kids with cancer.

"According to IRS filings, the Eric Trump Foundation in 2012 spent $59,085 on its annual Golf Invitational fundraiser held at the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, New York -- money that skimmed from donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Those expenses ballooned to $230,080 in 2013 and to $242,294 in 2014, according to the filings," ABC News noted at the time.

Social media onlookers did not react positively to what Trump sanctimoniously shared with the right-wing religious fundamentalists:

The more someone publicly declares their piety, the more certain they are not pious.

Is that before or after he steals money from children with cancer?

'Then I go steal from kids cancer charities and rip off the public with my tax scamming family business, The Trump Organization.'

Then…. at 6:45am every morning, Lara and I have a planning session on what charity we can steal from next… Then.. we pray again that nobody finds out.

This is just creepy. Can you imagine your dad waking you up for kindergarten at 4:30 AM to say the Pledge and Lord’s Prayer? No, please, Daddy, GO AWAY! You’re scaring me!

“Bless us O’Donald, For these thy grifts, Which we are about to receive, From thy bounty, Through daddy our fraud, Amen.” - The Trump Family Prayer

Many harbored doubts about the veracity of Trump's anecdote:

I’ll take things that don’t happenfor $11,780, Alex.

Of all the things that never happen. This never happens the most.

Yeah, riiiight. Then he walk out of the house and asks his Lord for a good day grifting the rubes.

Then he proceeds to rob children's charities and commit tax fraud.Yes sir, good, clean, living.

How to Make Your Children Grow Up to Resent You.By Eric Trump.

OK, if—big IF—this is remotely true, how stupid do you have to be to brag about waking up your 3 and 5 year-olds at 4:30AM every morning to say the Pledge of Allegiance AT them? Again, if—big IF—that’s true,it’s child abuse.
