CME milk futures and cash dairy prices mostly lower Wednesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly lower Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December Class III milk was down $0.08 at $20.39.  January was down $0.42 at $19.62.  February was down $0.23 at $19.51.  March was down $0.18 at $19.73.  April through October contracts ranged from sixteen cents lower in May to fifteen cents higher in October.

Dry whey was down $0.0150 at $0.4425.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0025 at $2.1075.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.92.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was down $0.0125 at $2.8875.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.01 at $1.3825.   No sales were recorded.
