What Are Your Favorite Friends Up To This Week?

December Quote

Happy December, dear friends! Can you believe it’s the last month of the year? As we move into the holiday season, my family and I are recovering from those wintery bugs that are so prevalent right now and praying for wisdom regarding our housing situation in the New Year. We’re also focused on keeping Jesus at the forefront of our celebrations (He is, after all, the reason for the season) and identifying our priorities for 2023.

Keeping things simple yet celebratory is how I’m feeling right now and, based on your posts, many of you are feeling the same way too! Here are a few of my favorite seasonal projects that friends from our community shared:

Mini Suculent Christmas Tree With Lights

Do you want to fill your home with Christmas trees but lack the time, space or energy to put up traditional ones? If so, then Libbie’s lovely Mini Succulent Christmas Tree DIY project is for you! Libbie walks us through everything we need to create these delightful trees, which are beautiful enough to stand alone (or to light and decorate as you please!)

Hygge Wreath

Love the look of Christmas wreaths but looking for something unusual to adorn your home? Why not try creating your own version of Regina’s Hygge Christmas Wreath? The more natural elements you incorporate into your home, the greater a sense of contentment and well-being you create (which is what the Danish word Hygge means!)

Dry Fruit Garland

Nichole is another fan of natural, handmade décor. If you’re looking for a crafty project the family can participate in, don’t miss her tutorial on How To Make A Dried Fruit Garland. There are so many creative uses for this in your home!

Sustainable Gift Wrapping

Finally, don’t let the beauty of a natural Christmas start and stop within your home – share the trend with your friends! Suzan provides some fabulous tips for Wrapping Your Gifts The Sustainable Way. You’ll never need to make a last-minute run to the drug store to buy loud-looking gift wrap when you incorporate Suzan’s tips into your holiday giving!

Handmade Christmas

Need more ideas for keeping things simple? Don’t miss our tips on How To Celebrate Christmas With Less Stress This Year! We wish you a blessed holiday season and encourage you to focus on spending quality time with the people you love!

Making new friends and deepening existing relationships is always a joy! Be sure to visit Libbie, Regina and Nichole this week, explore their blogs, leave them some comment love, and congratulate them for being our Friend Of The Week at Friendship Friday at Create With Joy!

Friendship Friday is open for your viewing and linking pleasure all week. Be sure to say hello and introduce us to yourselves and your blog in the comments!

P.S. Friendship Friday is a weekly blog hop, but my family is currently in a season of transition. Until life settles down, I am leaving the party open for an extended period of time to ensure that you have a weekly place to share in the event that I am unable to host a new party in any given week. Please continue to join the fun each week and add your links to the latest party for the chance to be seen, visited and featured! Thanks for your grace and understanding!
