JOB DESCRIPTION
We’ll provide you with a steady flow of work (3-5 articles per month) at a competitive rate. Working with a professional editor you will have the opportunity to increase your skill as a writer as you receive constructive feedback. You will have your bio published on the site as well as a dedicated writer page. Articles are assigned and written according to specific guidelines so as to minimize the need for revisions and make your job easier and quicker.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write high-quality, well-researched articles that present educational information in an entertaining and easy-to-read way
- Consistently meet submission and revision deadlines (3-5 submissions expected per month)
- Submit original work that is wholly your own, write according to our style guide and cite sources (using credible high quality sources)
- Respond to editor feedback and revise submissions whenever necessary
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must have practical experience in at least one of the following: floristry; gardening (with a focus on flowers); Completed an apprenticeship or attained certifications related to floristry or floriculture.
- Strong writing and research skills
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong communicator who wants to continue learning and honing their craft
- Respond positively to constructive feedback from editors
- Basic knowledge of SEO (or willingness to learn)
