6% of Indiana corn, 5% of soybeans harvested

The USDA says harvest is off to a slow start in Indiana.

Corn harvest is six percent complete. Fifty-four percent of the crop is rated good to excellent, 92 percent is dented, and 47 percent is mature.

Soybean harvest is five percent complete with 64 percent dropping leaves and 55 percent rated good to excellent.
