'AGT': Sofía Vergara's Golden Buzzer the Mayyas crowned winner over pole dancer Kristy Sellars

It's official: "America's Got Talent" has crowned a winner.

After the top 11 acts took the stage the night prior, Wednesday's live two-hour finale was jam-packed with filler, plus an ungodly amount of commercial breaks, as viewers patiently waited for host Terry Crews to announce the results.

As usual, judges Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel watched on but had no say over the results, which were up to America's vote.

In the lead-up to the results, teen singer Sara James, who scored Cowell's Golden buzzer, jammed out with the Black Eyed Peas; country trio Chapel Hart, a special group Golden Buzzer, got a hologram message from country star Tanya Tucker; and pole dancer Kristy Sellars joined forces with Vergara's Golden Buzzer the Mayyas, a women's dance group from Lebanon, for a short and sweet dance routine.

Here's what went down, including who won.

Don McMillan returned alongside other eliminated comedians from the season for a cheeky roast of judge Simon Cowell.

Though many performers took the stage over the course of the episode, none seemed to tickle Cowell more than top 11 contestant and comic Mike E. Winfield, who invited eliminated stand-up acts from the season to roast the notoriously hard-to-please judge.

These comics were Don McMillan, Mr. Pants and Lace Larrabee.

Even Metaphysic, another top 11 act, joined in on the fun, employing their deep fake of Cowell to crack jokes on a big screen.

Cowell, always a good sport, laughed from the judge's table, occasionally burying his head in his hands in embarrassment.

Though the crowd chanted her name, teen singer Sara James narrowly missed out on a spot in the top five.

The mood turned from celebratory to tense when Crews finally dimmed the lights and got to the results.

First, Crews announced which of the 11 remaining acts made the top five, calling each down in pairs.

Country crooner Drake Milligan beat out comedian Winfield, and Metaphysic bested French magician Nicolas Ribs. Ventriloquist Celia Muñoz, who was eliminated and then voted into the finale as a wildcard, was passed over in favor of Australian pole dancer Sellars.

The Mayyas slithered past magician Yu Hojin for a spot in the top five, leaving James, Chapel Hart and saxophonist Avery Dixon, who scored Crews' Golden Buzzer, vying for the last spot.

Though the crowd chanted "Sara," the spot went to Chapel Hart.

"I don’t think anybody could have tried harder than everyone did last night," Cowell said of the results. "Respect and congratulations to everyone now who is in the top five."

The Mayyas, a women's dance group from Lebanon, were crowned this season's winners, with Australian pole dancer Kristy Sellars named the runner-up.

Crews then counted down the top five to get to the winner.

Chapel Hart landed in fifth place. "I really do believe that last night you wrote a hit song," Cowell told the grateful trio. "Watch."

Metaphysic came in fourth. "You guys were amazing, but this competition this season was so difficult," Vergara said.

In third was Drake Milligan, whom the judges predicted would be one of the most likely acts to win. "You’re a fighter," Cowell told the country singer. "You’re hugely talented. This is just the beginning for you."

The last acts left were the Mayyas and Sellars.

The Mayyas ended up winning.

After Crews announced the results, Vergara rushed the stage to give her Golden Buzzer a big hug as gold confetti rained. Crews tried asking Sellars what "AGT" means to her, but the pole dancer couldn't hear the question over the uproarious applause from the audience.
