Briggs Avenue Community Garden, which is owned and operated by NCSU-Cooperative Extension-Durham County, is holding its spring festival and plant sale on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This is a free event. Donations are appreciated.

The garden is at 1314 S. Briggs Avenue, Durham, NC.

You can expect:

  • A wide selection of plants for purchase to jump‑start your spring garden
  • Free seeds and free compost to help your garden grow strong
  • Hands-on activities for all ages
  • A raffle with great prizes
  • Opportunities to chat with Extension Master Gardeners and get expert advice

Whether you’re an experienced grower or just getting started, this event is a great way to connect, learn, and enjoy the beauty of spring.
