This means that I need to bring on someone experienced in writing for SEO and who has a lot of knowledge about filmmaking, mostly post-production.
It's an exciting opportunity for you to be able to write about something you love - filmmaking! Whether you're a hobbyist or consider yourself a pro on the topic, we want you to write for us.
I'm looking for someone who has the following skills and mindset:
- Understanding of the niche - You should be knowledgeable about filmmaking, various NLE software, and basic editing principles.
- Fast writer - You need to be able to create high-quality content fast. The website is growing exponentially. Speed and, more importantly, meeting deadlines IS A MUST.
- Independent - I need someone who is resourceful and who can research and write on the topics requested without any handholding. Don't get me wrong; I am happy to teach you and help you improve. But I have many other tasks to perform, so I will trust you to produce high-quality articles without my assistance.
- SEO-writer - You should be able to gently nudge the search engines to the right queries while focusing heavily on helping the readers who need help with their problems.
- Focus on this project - I'm not looking for someone who will send me a few thousand words now and then. I need someone with time to focus on this project and deliver consistently every week.
Final points:
- I'm looking for a very consistent part-time freelancer with the mindset of writing for this project long-term. Please don't submit a proposal if you're just looking for a writing gig for the next couple of months.
- Payment will be 3 cents per word, and you will be writing 1000-2000 word informational articles about film-related topics, mostly post-production.
- We can discuss how much you have time to write weekly, but I'm looking for anything between 5000-10000 words each week at a consistent rate.
- I need to see some samples of your writing to ensure that you actually know how to write informational articles for the internet in native English.
