Spooky season: Spirit Halloween, seasonal stores open in The Empire Mall

Spooky season is right around the corner, as two seasonal stores, Spirit Halloween and Go Calendars, Toys and Games, prepare to return The Empire Mall. 

Spirit Halloween offers costumes, accessories, home and outdoor decor, party goods and exclusive animatronics.

The seasonal store is located next to Hy-Vee and across from JCPenney. Spirit Halloween operates Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., On Friday and Saturday the business is open from 10 a.m to 9 p.m., and open noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Go Calendars, Toys & Games is also open inside The Empire Mall. As the name implies, the store sells calendars, games, toys, puzzles and gifts. It's located next to the upcoming AS Revival space across from Riddle's Jewelry. Go Calendars, Toys & Games is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, the business is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
