Crop conditions in Kansas hold steady amid cooler, wetter weather

Kansas crops could use some relief from on-going drought.

The latest crop progress and condition report from USDA shows corn is rated 36 percent good-to-excellent, down three percent from last week.

Soybeans are rated 46 percent good-to-excellent, that’s down 5 percent.

Thirty-percent of sorghum is rated 30 percent-good-to-excellent.

Cotton condition is rated 35 percent good-to-excellent.

Pasture and range conditions are 22 percent good-to-excellent.
