PORTLAND, Oregon — Portland topped out at a record 91-degrees Friday, breaking the old record of 89-degrees set in 2019.
The clear weather continues all weekend, but temperatures begin to cool. The coast was in the mid-80s Friday but will peak in the 60s Saturday.
The valleys cool a couple of degrees and should stay just below 90-degrees Saturday.
But further cooling comes Sunday. Mother’s Day will be sunny and warm with highs around 80-degrees.
Mainly clear weather continues next week. Monday begins with morning clouds, but they clear by afternoon. Highs will be in the 70s Monday and Tuesday, around 80-degrees Wednesday and back to the 70s at the end of the week.
There’s also a chance the northern lights will be visible from Oregon and Washington tonight! Look north, after midnight, way from city lights for the best chance.
Have a great weekend.
