Cold showers again Tuesday

Heavy Cascade snow, 5 to 10 inches new

PORTLAND, Oregon — We’ve got another cold, showery day Tuesday. There will be frequent showers, and highs will be in the mid-50s or about 10 degrees below average.

Isolated thunderstorms are also possible, along with small hail and gusty winds.

In the Cascades, 5 to 10 inches of new snow will fall Tuesday above 2,500 feet. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until Tuesday evening.

May begins Wednesday with sunshine and highs in the low 60s. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds Thursday as temperatures warm a little more.

Friday will be the warmest day of the week, with sunshine and highs around 70-degrees.

Showers set back in Saturday but highs will still be in the mid-60s. Dry weather returns Sunday.

Have a great Tuesday.
