Memorial Day weekend starts cool and cloudy

Warmer, drier weather returns Monday with highs in the 70s.

PORTLAND, Oregon — Clouds and chances for scattered showers continue Saturday. Overall, rain totals are relatively low and much of the day should stay dry and overcast.

For those crossing mountain passes, expect wet roads Saturday. Snow levels could lower to 4,000 feet, bringing a dusting of snow at pass level.

Change comes later in the day on Sunday, clouds should clear up giving way to sun and conditions will trend warmer and drier. Monday will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the upper 70s, a great way to cap off the weekend!

Happy Friday!
