Strong system moves onshore Sunday

Expect to see a steady stream of rain Sunday, with strong winds along the coast.

PORTLAND, Oregon — Get ready to see some changes heading into Sunday as a strong system moves onshore that could drop more than a  .50” of rain by the end of the day. We’ll see showers continue heading into Monday and Tuesday. Take a look at this map from the National Weather Service showing where the heavy rain will be over the next couple of days. There could be some areas that see a rise in streams and rivers.

By the middle part of next week, we’ll gradually warm up, and by the end of next week we’re going to be looking at highs around 90 degrees.
