Last couple days of April: Cool & showery

Expect drier and conditions by the middle part of the week.

PORTLAND, Oregon — The last weekend of April has been quiet, and that's going to be the trend heading into Sunday too. We'll see a weak system keep us cool again, with a few showers at times through the coast and the northern parts of the metro area. Any rain that we do receive, is going to be on the lighter side.

Temperatures are going to be on the cooler side the next couple of days, but by the later part of next week we'll see highs jump back into the upper 60s.

Late Sunday night and into Monday morning a winter weather advisory will be taking effect through the Oregon Cascades, with snow levels dropping down to 3,000 feet. There could be as much as a foot of snow that falls up at Timberline Lodge, by Monday afternoon.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,
