27 percent of wheat has been harvest in Kansas, according to USDA

More than a quarter of winter wheat has been harvested in Kansas.

The USDA says 27 percent of the crop is in, 11 percent of last year’s pace.  Twenty-seven percent is in good-to-excellent condition.

Corn condition is seen at 55 percent good-to-excellent with 2 percent silking.

Soybeans are rated 63 percent good-to-excellent with 83 percent of the crop in.

Nearly three-quarters of sorghum has been planted and cotton is rated 39 percent good-to-excellent.

Pasture and range conditions are rated 43 percent good-to-excellent.
