Man points apparent gun at Chicago news crew during live segment about school shooting
Natalie Neysa AlundChicago police have released photos of a man who they say pulled a gun and aimed it at a TV news crew as a reporter was doing a story on gun violence.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the unidentified man walked behind a reporter, flashed what appeared to be a gun toward the camera and walked off about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday in downtown Chicago.
The pair were in the middle of a live segment about this week's mass Texas school shooting when the man passed behind Fox 32 news crew reporter Joanie Lum.
No shots were fired, according to police.
"Our reporter and photographer were not injured and we want to say thank you to the viewers...who called or emailed to make sure our crew was OK," Fox 32 anchor Natalie Bomke reported on air after the assault.

The unidentified man is wanted on an aggravated assault with a firearm charge, police reported.
