More than 1,800 students in Sioux Falls will make up the Class of 2022

More than 1,800 Sioux Falls high school seniors will walk the stage and receive their high school diplomas in the next two weeks.

A total of 1,863 students from Sioux Falls make up the Class of 2022, whether they attend one of three private schools or the four public high schools.

Seniors will hear “Pomp and Circumstance” on a loop for hours, toss their caps in a ceremonial fashion and celebrate their accomplishments with their families, peers and teachers.

Here’s a roundup of when the graduations will be held, and how many seniors will walk.

Sioux Falls Lutheran

Sioux Falls Lutheran will see seven seniors graduate on Friday, May 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s chapel.

Sioux Falls Christian

Sioux Falls Christian will see 96 students walk the stage on Friday, May 20, at 7 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.

O’Gorman High School

O’Gorman High School will see 173 students graduate on Saturday, May 21, at 7 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Arena.

Sioux Falls School District 

All four of the Sioux Falls School District high schools will hold commencement in one day at the Convention Center on May 29.

Roosevelt High School will graduate 505 students at 11 a.m..

Washington High School will graduate 417 students at 1:45 p.m..

Lincoln High School will graduate 502 students at 4:30 p.m..

Jefferson High School will graduate 163 students at 7:15 p.m..
