Companies Cover Travel Costs For Abortions


Tesla is covering transportation costs for Employees to get Out-of-State Abortions, joining:

- Apple
- Citigroup
- Hinge
- Levi Strauss
- Lyft
- Match
- Microsoft
- Netflix
- OKCupid
- Patagonia
- PayPal
- Salesforce
- Tarket
- Walmart
- Uber
- Yelp

as State's Regulations have limited access to Abortions.

Tesla said in its 2021 Impact report, released on May 6th, that it had begun offering travel and lodging support for those who may need to seek health care services that are unavailable in their home state in 2021.

Texas, where Tesla is based, has some of the Country's most Restrictive Abortion Laws. Last year, the State banned the procedure ater Six weeks of pregnancy.

In Congress, some Lawmakers are already Threatening Actions against companies that offer such Benefits, including Marco Rubio (R-FL).

Tesla's other Fertility Benifits include: I.V.F., Egg Freezing, and upto $25,000 for both Adoption and Surrogacy.

Tesla also offers 16 weeks of Paid Family Leave.
