On Tuesday morning, April 12, at least 13 people were injured in a shooting at a Brooklyn subway station, according to the New York Times.

The Times reports that the incident occurred “on the platform of a Brooklyn subway station during the Tuesday morning rush."

“The (New York) Fire Department said that 13 people were injured, several by gunfire,” according to the Times. “A Department spokesman did not provide further details on the victims’ injuries and conditions.”

The Times reports that the New York Police Department “were seeking a man with a gas mask and an orange construction vest, a law enforcement official said.”
