Since the Start of the Pandemic, there has been a Fine per Occurrence for Members of the House, if they did Not wear Masks on the Floor.
The Fine was $500 for the First occurrence, $2,500 for each subsequent Occurrences. Think about that, a Congressional Salary is $174,000.
Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA, 14th District) has now Forfeited her Entire Salary, Sued, and Lost.
"I'm not vaccinated either. And I won't be getting vaccinated. And that's my own personal choice. I support people that want the vaccine. If anybody wanted one, I would drive them to go get one because I support people's freedom to make their own decision. But I do not want to get the vaccine myself, and I don't need to wear a mask. It's not changing anything," Greene said in 2021.
The Fines come as a Deduction from her Salary, and Cannot be paid with Campaign Donations, or Congressional Office Budget Funds.
As of March 8th, 2022, Notice, the Mask Mandate is over.
Now if she doesn’t get Re-Elected, she won’t Collect any more Paychecks. She will need other sources, like maybe the RNC or a Fund Me.
