The past few years have brought unprecedented uncertainty and rapid change. But channel leaders continued to step up to the plate to help navigate the ever-evolving needs of partners and customers, while facing the biggest opportunities and toughest challenges our industry has seen.

We’re thrilled to congratulate not one, but two, of our own executives who have been honored on CRN’s 2022 Channel Chief List, Mark Palomba, SVP, Worldwide Partner Sales and Ecosystems and Mike Fouts, VP, Americas Partner Sales.

Over the past year, the ability to enable seamless remote and hybrid work has been a key initiative for partners and their customers. Both Mark and Mike have supported leading the way in helping partners enable business continuity and prioritize employee experience, ultimately allowing partners to get back to the fundamentals in solving business challenges. They were both instrumental in launching our Ecosystem Business Management (EBM) platform, driving efficient and effective collaboration within our partner ecosystem. Our EBM platform provides our customers with the ability to truly co-sell and collaborate across organizations.

An established global sales leader, Mark was ready to take on the unique challenges of the last year. He set up two strategic personal priorities: Developing a listening motion, which included executive one-on-ones, partner advisory boards, and leveraging surveys to inform decisions; and establishing a set of workstreams that focus on developing key pieces of our new partner program.

With nearly 30 years of industry experience and over 20 years with the Citrix team, Mike viewed the last year as a transformational time for our channel organization. He united disparate functions, launched a new organizational structure and go-to-market model, to ultimately create a shared, unified, and motivating vision for the entire organization.

Additional accomplishments of the Citrix partner team over the last year included expanding strategic partnerships, a focus on accelerating customers’ move to the cloud, and the overall evolution of our channel strategy, beyond the traditional resale model to move the channel into areas of scale, influence and consumption.

As a leader in the channel, Citrix continues to provide an innovative approach to empowering customers and partners. From our focus on employee experience, to providing our channel partners with the right tools, simplicity and agility to thrive in today’s complex world, our leadership team continues to unlock a future of new opportunities.
