Brownfield Ag Weather Today
Rain in Florida will diminish to scattered showers during the second half of the week. Meanwhile, a series of cold fronts will continue to reinforce a cold weather pattern across the Midwest and Northeast. Late in the week, one of the cold fronts—interacting with a Southern disturbance—will bring the possibility of wintry precipitation across much of the eastern U.S. In fact, a significant winter storm may unfold across the Northeast by Saturday. In the storm’s wake, producers in Florida will need to monitor the potential of a weekend freeze. Elsewhere, little or no precipitation will fall during the next 5 days in much of the Mississippi Valley and west of the Rockies, except in the Pacific Northwest. On the High Plains, limited drought relief may occur during the next couple of days, mostly in the form of light snow.
