Home improvement niche website is searching for experienced SEO freelance writers/editors with a proven track record.
Candidates should be capable of writing attention-grabbing, intelligent, informative, high-quality, and content-driven pieces related to interior design, home improvement, furniture, and the latest home design trends.
EXPERIENCE
We prefer writers who have real by-lines online publications. We’re also open to new writers who demonstrate strong writing and editing skills and a willingness to learn.
The ideal candidate would have experience writing about DIY home decor subjects and have legitimate writing samples they could share.
Familiarity with the latest SEO trends like internal linking, keyword research, content optimizations, long-tail keywords, formatting; and working knowledge with SEO tools.
Candidates should:
Have a clear understanding of writing in the active voice and with positive sentiment.
Write engaging and coherent content without fluff and in a style that grabs our reader’s attention.
Produce well-researched content that provides thorough coverage on topics (1,000 to 4,500-word count).
Should be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing fast-changing deadlines. Previous news, magazine, and website editing experience is a plus.
