A podcast all about how amazing Utah is. With regular interviews from local drag queens, to authors, business owners and political figures, there is something for everyone.
The New Utah Podcast, Episode 292 - Utah Copper. It's the last week of the month and year, and we are wrapping up Historically Significant Utah with the Kennecott Copper mine. From the discovery of copper in 1848 by the Bingham brothers, to recent collapses and the purchase by Rio Tinto we cover all the history of the mine, and what it means to Utah. Even the towns that were built to support it, and later buried by it. We also recap one heck of a year, talking about the stories that have the most meaning for us this year. A lot has changed.
