Girl Scout Cookies

What's the most searched Girl Scout Cookie in your state?

It's officially Girl Scout Cookie season, and search traffic for cookies has gone through the roof.

Google shared with USA TODAY the most searched cookie for every state in the U.S. The data comes from the past week, including Wednesday when the Girl Scout Cookie season officially launched. Here's what we found:

Unsurprisingly, Thin Mints was the top search, topping the charts in 38 states.

Tagalongs were the most searched cookie in Wyoming, Mississippi, Alabama, New Hampshire, West Virginia, Alaska, Delaware and Illinois.

Adventurefuls – a new addition to the Girl Scout Cookie lineup – were the most popular cookie in Kansas, Iowa and Arkansas.

For the lone state of South Dakota, Do-si-dos were the most searched Girl Scout Cookie in the state.

However, Girl Scouts has also adopted a hybrid model for this season.

Girl Scout Cookies on DoorDash

This year, Girl Scouts has partnered with DoorDash to deliver cookies throughout the country, given spikes of the heavily contagious omicron variant and the resulting shutdowns and social distancing protocols put in place.

"As a Girl Scouts cookie lover myself, I am so excited to welcome Girl Scouts of the USA to our platform, providing a fast and convenient option for customers to access beloved Girl Scout Cookies on-demand, while empowering Girl Scouts to meaningfully grow their cookie businesses," Shanna Prevé, DoorDash’s VP of strategic partnerships and business development, said in a statement.

Nationwide deliveries will begin in February.

Beginning February 18, you can also enter your zip code into the Girl Scout Cookie Finder at www.girlscoutcookies.org to find a booth near you or purchase from a local Girl Scout troop online for shipment to your door or to donate cookies to first responders and local causes.
