I am looking for a fun finance content writer for my finance/productivity blog. I'm getting really behind on the writing I want to do and I need some help!
I think I write really fun content and it's ground zero of a successfully growing blog that you get to be a part of. This is planned to be a long-term job and I'm looking for someone who will work long term. Please link a Dilbert comic in one of your answers
Furthermore, I think I'm a great boss (other employees would say so :) ) and I'm super motivated to turn this site into something huge (I'm very driven).
Pay:
- Pay per word. The normal amount I'm used to paying is 0.03$/wd.
- I'm not heart set on sticking with $0.03/wd but you can address that in the application :)
- Long-term writers get to be on a growth plan once they are good at following all the SOPs.
Duties:
- Write finance articles
- Most articles will have keyword research completed and will be based on a reference template article.
- Research to find relevant authority links.
- Link internally to other articles in the same category.
- Upload to WordPress (just upload it after it's edited, mainly to make sure you used the right headers etc. Someone will add images afterward)
Workload:
- Min 2K words/wk
- I schedule out about 10K words so you can work ahead if you want to earn more.
Requirements:
- Native or equivalent written English skills
- Finance knowledge (to write about investing, saving etc). You have to understand finance well, but I write about personal finance, so you don't need a PhD in economics or anything.
- General understanding of On-page SEO.
Nice to have:
- Advanced Finance knowledge for fancy articles
- Basic WordPress knowledge (to upload articles) but I can teach that.
- Advanced onpage SEO skills
