[unpaid/sample] I’m on much happier ground with the latest collection from Mavala which is their winter offering, So Future. I didn’t really gel with the autumn collection but this is just lovely.
It’s all in the Silicum + formula (extra Silica for nail strength) and predictably the colour that has taken my heart is Precious Lilac with a top coat of gold or silver sprinkles.
They’re almost pretty enough to hang from the tree. White polish is really hard to wear – you end up needed at least 3 coats – but worth the effort for the effect, especially if you’re putting gold twinkles over the top. Let each coat dry completely thoroughly before you apply the next one otherwise it can end up patchy (I did a test on one finger and it definitely needed the full 3 before adding the gold top coat) and always, always use a quick dry top coat at the finish.
So, the line up is from left to right: Precious Lilac, Golden Clash, Star Palace, Royal Gold, Fashionista Black and Moon Chic.
